The palate is smooth, with fine tannins, luscious red fruits and a gentle acidity. This wine does not require maturation; it is ready to drink and as smooth as silk.
Spijker is named after the “stoetbul” (stud bull) of the late iconic South African wine celebrity Francis “Duimpie” Bayly.
