It is made up of 5 Merlot clones; each wild fermented and matured separately.
Finally, they are meticulously blended to create a perfect and unique representation of the oldest Merlot Vineyard in the Elgin valley.
The wine has a fragrance of ripe red fruits such as plums and dark cherries, with earthy complexity and yet still expressing minerality.
Maintaining a good acidity lends to outstanding freshness with a well integrated ripe and seductive tannin structure.
