Taste: A mélange of dense, flavour-laden ripe fruit on the palate. Prunes, dark berries, a hint of chocolate and mandarin liqueur. A singular expression of harsh Calitzdorp Wesoewer terroir, restrained sweetness and no stickiness!
Food pairing:This wine will continue to evolve in the bottle. Pair with medium-spice boerewors or chicken liver pate, or stay traditional and enjoy with medium-aged cheddar or rich Dutch Apple pie. Chill for 30 minutes before opening. Consume within 3 days for optimum flavours.
